Afghanistan: A Growing Haven for Terrorist Cells

Afghanistan, once again, finds itself engulfed in the grip of international terrorism, rendering it more dangerous than it was back in September 2001. The ill-fated Doha agreement and the catastrophic withdrawal of US and NATO forces in August 2021 have inadvertently transformed the country into a hub and sanctuary for terrorist activities. This alarming situation has been highlighted by David Cook, the Executive Director of the Special Operations Association of America (SOAA), and Ali Nazary, the head of foreign relations for the National Resistance Front (NRF), in their thought-provoking op-ed published in The Washington Times.
