Declaration of the Second Vienna Conference
The Second Vienna Conference Declaration addresses the urgent need to take practical steps towards the effective coordination of national political, social, and intellectual forces, civil society activists, and independent personalities, in support of the resistance against the Taliban in Afghanistan. The Conference participants commit themselves to the methodical integration of all current opposition forces against the Taliban, including armed resistance, and the expansion of their efforts. The participants believe that the systematic exclusion of women from the public sphere is a perfect manifestation of the Taliban policies and practices of gender apartheid.
